2. Portal access: Didn’t get the email? No worries! You can head straight to our activation portal at data.pocketroam.com and use the email address you used at purchase to access your eSIM.
3. Activate & scan: Once you’ve activated your bundle through the link or portal, you’ll receive a QR code. Simply scan this QR code using your QR-enabled smartphone to install the eSIM.
4. Enable data roaming: Go to your phone settings and turn on data roaming for the installed eSIM.

Pocket Roam eSIM bundles primarily focus on providing you with seamless data connectivity. As of now, our bundles don't include traditional voice calls or SMS text messages. However, you can easily make calls and send texts using various VoIP and messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Skype, and FaceTime, as long as you have a data connection. You can also make calls from your home sim card, just make you disable data roaming to avoid unwanted data charges.

Our eSIM will provide you with internet access in China just like any local SIM would. That means you may be subject to the same online restrictions, including the Great Firewall, depending on which provider your eSIM connects to. If you need to access blocked sites or services, you'll have to use a VPN, just like you would with a regular SIM card in China.
